How WebWorks Technologies collects, uses, and protects your information: analytics, cookies, payments, and your choices.
This Privacy Policy explains what information WebWorks Digital Technologies ("we," "our," or "us") collects when you visit our website or use our Services, how we use it, and the choices you have. It supplements our Terms & Conditions and is incorporated into them by reference.
2.1 Information you provide. When you contact us, request a demo, or sign up for a plan, we collect the details you submit, such as your name, email address, phone number, and any project information you share. Submissions from our contact and enquiry forms are delivered to our inbox by email through Resend (our email delivery provider) and are retained in our email account.\n\n2.2 Payment information. Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card details on our servers; Stripe handles card data under its own privacy policy and security standards. With your consent at checkout, Stripe keeps your payment method on file so we can bill your monthly plan.\n\n2.3 Information collected automatically. When you browse the site, cookieless GA4 collects standard technical data such as your IP address (used to derive approximate location, then truncated by Google, never stored by us), browser and device type, and pages visited.
We keep our analytics tracking cookie-free. Our payment processor (Stripe) may use strictly necessary functional cookies during checkout to secure your transaction and prevent fraud, which are exempt from standard consent requirements. The map on our Contact page is loaded from Google Maps and may set Google's own cookies while it is displayed; no other page loads it. Regarding analytics:\n\n• Google Analytics 4 (GA4) runs only in cookieless mode, with storage denied through Google Consent Mode. It sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device. GA4 collects aggregated, non-identifying usage data: pages viewed, approximate region derived from a truncated IP address, and browser/device type. This helps us understand overall site traffic.\n\n• We do not use Microsoft Clarity, session recording, advertising trackers, or any other cookie-based analytics.
We use the information we collect to: (a) respond to your enquiries and provide the Services; (b) process payments and manage your subscription; (c) operate, maintain, and improve our website; and (d) comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information.
We share information only with service providers that help us deliver the Services, and only as needed for that purpose. These include Stripe (payment processing), Resend (email delivery of form submissions), Amazon Web Services (hosting and content delivery), Google (cookieless GA4 analytics, and the Google Maps embed that shows our office location on the Contact page), and Cloudflare (Turnstile, the check that tells a real visitor's form submission from an automated one; it processes the submitting browser's IP address and device signals for that purpose only). Each processes data under its own privacy policy. We may also disclose information where required by law. Because we utilize robust global infrastructure like AWS and Stripe, your personal information may be transferred to, processed, and stored in jurisdictions outside of Canada (such as the United States), where it may be subject to access by local law enforcement or regulatory authorities.
We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the Services and for legitimate business or legal purposes. Analytics data is retained according to the default retention settings of the respective analytics provider. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.
In accordance with applicable data protection laws (such as PIPEDA), you have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below and we will respond within a reasonable timeframe.
We implement industry-standard administrative and technical safeguards, including HTTPS/TLS encryption, to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. However, no data transmission over the internet or electronic storage system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Our Services are intended for businesses and are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the Effective Date at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated where appropriate.
